I have always loved to draw and paint from the time I can remember,but a gift from a family friend of a fine watercolor set for my eleventh birthday sparked a lifelong love of the medium.
Nurturing my passion for fine art in college, I earned my BFA in art and advertising design. To this day I maintain a keen interest in biology and the sciences, particularly the health sciences with a concentration in integrative medicine.
Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the inspiration to paint never seemed to wane. Today I am captivated and inspired anew by our Arizona landscape and Sonoran desert beauty.
My dearest subjects remain constant; the animals we love & capturing their personalities, painting the glorious natural beauty around me and the places my husband and I and our beloved Rhodesian Ridgeback visit.
